In addition to the tube processing production site, Sun Mac has a division dedicated to cold sheet metal working. Focusing primarily on steel, we work metal sheet with thicknesses up to 12 mm and manufacture a wide range of parts, from single components to semi-finished assembled structures tailored to customer requirements.
Our production includes laser cutting, bending, machining, as well as assembly processes like welding and the application of additional components of various type.
Sun Mac is equipped with a cutting-edge fiber laser machine that ensures precision, efficiency, and quality. It features an automatic pallet changer and a working area of 3000 mm x 1500 mm.
Sun Mac is equipped with 170-ton press brake bending machines, with a maximum bending length of 3100 mm, capable of performing both simple and complex bends.
The bending process technique is based on the metal’s deformation properties, allowing precise shapes to be formed without altering the material’s original structure.
Sun Mac has a Hyundai machining center for performing complementary mechanical operations for internal use.
Sun Mac is equipped with an automatic MIG/MAG welding robot and several working stations for manual MIG/MAG welding, performed by qualified personnel in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 9606-1:2017 standard.
